News Update 3/8/10: Sporting U16 boys WIN Juventus Spring Showcase undefeated and with 13 goals in favor and 0 against!

Sporting 93 boys will be launching this season by attending the Juventus Spring Showcase tournament in Redwood City, CA March 5-7. Catch a glimpse of the action as the team goes into the tournament as the defending champions. In 2009 they won the tournament undefeated with 23 goals for and (0) against. We will be webcasting the championship match.

This season we will be bringing you live games through our embedded player on the right hand side and through the Ustream website. Whenever you see a red sign that says (Live) on the bottom of the player, or a live image, it means we are currently webcasting live. Be quick to jump on though because there is a a cap on number of viewers at one time.

The Sporting 93 boys have been accepted for the third straight year to the elite Dallas cup tournament in March. The boys will be going to the tournament this year as the defending champions and will put everything on the line to defend their title. Last year the Sporting 93 team managed to win the tournament undefeated with only 1 goal against. In 2009 the team arrived in Dallas at 1:00 am monday morning after playing 3 back to back State Cup games that weekend. They played at 12:00pm monday vs England and managed to win 3-0. The boys went on through the whole tournament with more games under their belt during the week, than any other team. They played vs a tough LAFC Chelsea team in the final match at FC Dallas stadium in which they dominated and won 2-0. This year the team returns humble, but hungry to defend their title.
